Meet Sofia and Lucia from the U.K.

MEET SOFIA AND LUCIA from the U.K.

On 26th April (Friday) we met Sofia and Lucia, our special guests. They are Mrs.Maria’s cousins, one of the teachers of the first classes in our school.They are here for Easter holidays.

They are from the UK and they live in Birmingham. Their father is from Italy, their mother is from Ireland. They speak English.

Sofia is 11 years old and she is in primary school (sixth class), Lucia is in second class because she is 7. They go to school from Monday to Friday, from 9 to 3.30 pm. In the class there is a teacher and one or two assistant-teachers and there are about 30 pupils! The teachers are usually very strict, children can’t chat! They often do tests, like our “Prove Invalsi”. As a foreign language they usually study French, but only an hour a week.

We gave Sofia and Lucia a little present to remember the day together: two homemade bracelets.
